How old are the oldest kids that were treated with dex?  Just like surgery, there haven’t been any long-term follow-up studies, because the dex hasn’t been used  that long.  NO ONE knows what will happen do these children exposed to dex when they mature and expecially when they reach puberty.  It’s one big unknown.  Taking the dex seems to be a bad trade-off when it comes down to choosing between the unknown dex effects and undiseased, yet atypical genitals.  Having kids is not something I’ll be doing in the future, but if I were to, I don’t think high doses of dex would be something I would consider.
