All of you were right.  I got through to my son’s endo. who was able to find the cortisone acetate (not recommended) but not hydrocortisone acetate (cortef generic).  Anyway, she decided to write a prescription for the generic Florinef for now.

I’ll keep looking for the hydrocortisone acetate though.
