My daughter was diagnosed in November with CAH.  She started on Cortef in January.  She is 5 yrs old and weighs 91 lbs.  Our ped. endo says that because of her lack of cortisol, the other glands are "overcompensating."  I would like to hear from anyone who has a child with similar symptoms.  She also has a "moon shaped face" and a "buffalo hump" - very classic signs of Cushings Syndrome.   She was tested for that and it is negative.  We started taking her to an endo because of the excessive weight gain.  Buying clothes is extremely difficult.

Any thoughts from anyone?  P.S.  She is a non-salt waster.
