I’m sorry to hear about your daughter.  I have a son who was diagnosed when he was 6.

Did I understand correctly that your daughter had the weight and cushingnoid symptoms before she was diagnosed and started treatment? I find that odd.  What tests did the doctors run to confirm the diagnosis of CAH?
