Jake (4 year-old SW CAH) has those.  He had them before he was on Cortef though.  We called them "gushers".  It seems to help to put a cool air humidifier in his room.  You can get a Duracraft one at Walmart for about $19.00, and you just change the filter once a month or so.  There’s no heat involved so you don’t have to worry about her getting burned, and no ointment or scent to it either.   You just fill up the container and turn it on.  We leave it on 24 hours a day.  I think with the summer coming on, the heat might exacerbate the situation with these "gushers".  Our 9 month old SW CAH daughter hasn’t had these (knock on wood).  I would only get them when I was pregnant; to which I might add was prior to my diagnosis, so I also was not on Cortef yet.

Good luck!
