I am new to this site & have a 7yr.old son with SWCAH who’s been managed well until the corteff susp. problem. As a result his bone age is adv. to an 11yr.old. I am looking to hear from anyone who can relate and share treatment that they underwent to get a handle on this. Our endo seems to be gridlocked to what alternatives that can halt this correctly. We presently take corteff 3am,11am,7pm this is something new weve been trying for the past few weeks. Florineff twice daily. We are considering Lupron also. We had another opinion with it being dexamethasone / florineff/Lupron. I don’t have much info on CAH kid’s and dex. treatment. Looking for any info. Karen G.
