I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with LOCAH. Now I’m wondering if I should test my son? He’ll be 3 in August.  What kind of tests do ped. Endos do for children?

We moved from Alaska to Florida last September & since then my son gets heat strokes very easy. The fever can last for 2 days at 102 F & it goes as high as 104 F.

His new ped. says it’s because of the weather change....but after 10 months here, shouldn’t he be adjusted? I always have to dress him with light colors, hat & no socks. He also sweats A LOT at night if we cover him with more than a sheet. We also give him lots of fluids through the day, even if it’s not too hot. We sleep with air cond. all the time. His going to start pre-school in Sep. and the uniform is *black pants* and gray shirt, what a suicide for Florida! Poor kids...
