I forgot to say

Janet D’s daughter Ruth (?) had a mature bone age when she first had her checked out, which her Doctors have managed to curb with corticosterids alone.

My sons bone age was also stomped on and kept at 3 yrs and 6 months for a period of three years.   In actual fact I I think Janet posted recently to say that they had managed to match the bone age now with the chronological age and they have also done this with my son.  He now has a bone age of 10 yo and a year ago he had the bone age of a 7 yr 6 mth old.  So they can do it in both directions with corticosteorid alone obviously but the real question is---when they use just corticosteroid to slow grwoth down---does it affect long term height and even more to the point, if they had given Lupron---would it really have made a difference?

Cheers
