Sorry, I think we are talking about two separate things here. Lupron is not the same thing as Growth Hormone. Sometimes, they are used in conjunction, in an effort to improve growth, but they approach the problem from two separate vantage points.
Lupron is not for every child with an advanced bone age or potential poor height prognosis. It is used to treat central precocious puberty, and would be used only with those children for whom that is an issue.
