Hi Jill - My son is almost 10 yrs old - SW-CAH, diagnosed at 17 days amidst an adrenal crisis. He has ALWAYS had his florinef dose first thing in the morning along with his cortef. Also, we have never increased the florinef during illness as we have been told that the extra cortef that we would be giving would provide the additional protection in that regard. Hope this helps!
