My 13 yr old daughter has been on Zantac and now Prevacid (because the Zantac really wasn’t strong enough) for reflux.  She has taken either cortef or hydrocortone since she was 3 and florinef since she was about 4.  She complained of stomach upset for years and we brushed it off.  Last winter she became so ill that she couldn’t eat anything and lost almost 20 lbs in 2 weeks.  Since then she has dropped approximately 15 more lbs due to changes in her eating habits.  I don’t know if the meds had any effect on her causing the reflux, but I have heard of other CAHers with similar stomach problems.  She will probably take some medication for her reflux for life.
