CAH kids have a tendency to be a bit moody (that may be what you are calling "psychotic") It’s a result of the occasional hormone imbalance. With my kids I’ve found that once I explain this to them, that their CAH may make them angry or sad for no reason, but they can control it, they seem to have little problem handling it. When they get moody, throws fits or frustrated I ask them if there is a reason they can think of for feeling that way. If they say no, then I remind them that it’s probably the CAH, and they need to control it. They almost always immediately calm down, and the few times they don’t, they eventually do after a little time to think.
