I am wondering if anyone would be able to help me.

I was talking to a friend this evening, who mentioned that her son developed pubic hair at 5 years of age, was a tall boy at that time and had premature body odour. He has always been sicker and taken longer to recover than his siblings. The doctors, never expressed any concern, so the mother just thought he was an early developer and didn’t pursue it further. 

He is now, 20 years old. Although his parents are 5’6’’ mother and 6’ plus father,  this young man is only about 5’4".  One puzzling feature though, is that he is not hairy/hirsute.

My question: Is there something other than CAH that could be responsible for these symptoms?
