tonyawe have blue cross/ blue shield and they did not cover the cost of dna testing for my child, husband or myself. they applied what we paid to our major medical cost therefore we have now met our deductable for the year. my son has nonclassical cah. i believe out of the $600 per test we paid, we got $20 per test from the insurance. we had our testing done at cornell university. there is a place that test for cah in, kansas city, i think and they do it somewhat cheaper (about $350) i am not as familier with locah, so i would just check to make sure they look for that type of defect. the name of the place was chapman instution (i think) i spoke with a dr. there before we had all of our testing done.
