I don’t know if this works for CAH but when my adopted dd was diagnosed with Fragile X they wanted her bio relatives to come in to be tested.  They told me to tell them not to worry about the cost because if it wasn’t covered by insurance and they didn’t have the money, they have ways to get the cost covered.  This was at H. Ford Hospital in Detroit.  It never hurts to ask.
