You mentioned that you don’t want to do DNA on your son. You do have another option. You can have them do an ACTH stimulation test on him to check. I also have two older boys, 7 and 4 and instead of doing a DNA test done on them, I got the ACTH stimulation test done. If and when they decide to have kids, they can get a DNA test done along with their wives. Both of my two older boys did not have CAH. I am thinking about trying for a girl ( or whatever God gives me) but I already did have DNA done on myself and my husband. I will take the Dex and I will have a CVS done to find out if the baby has CAH or not. Mostly though to find out if I need to continue the Dex or not.  I don’t believe that CAH is a reason to terminate a pregnancy so no matter what I would have the baby but I don’t want to be on drugs if I don’t have to.
