Congrat on your little VALENTINE!!  I am so happy for you! Again.... I hope you get your answers soon and everything is okay.  We will be praying for you. 

I do think that you should have your blood, your husband and your other child tested. That is recommended. It would confirm the type of CAH that you have and if your husband and son might be carriers of a different type.  And very unlikely but you should want to find out for their sake.

Remember my email - they could have CAH and no symptoms or very mild.  Very rare - as are as 3-beta CAH - that is VERY rare type!!  Have heard of people with some strange combinations.

Your CAH does seem like a strange combination.  Are you getting the hormone testing done without your medications? What time of day? What tests? I hope you have a good endo doctor!! 

They should be doing 17-OH Pregnenoione for the 3-Beta CAH.  Not to be confused with the 17 OH Progesterone which is for the classicl and non-classical CAH.

And other hormone tests - testosterone (of course!!).

And DHEA, AndrostenedionePlasma Renin and chem 8 - salt, sugar, etc for the decreased cortisol and aldosterone production.

I don’t understand the labia problem. Did you have a fused labia and the surgery didn’t go right? Strange, huh.  But you sound very adusted and happy.

And  polycystic ovaries - more common is salt wasting CAH - I thought because of too much male hormones.  But maybe in the 3-beta because of the lack of incomplete sex hormone  synthesis in the ovaries.

Your medications must be working for you to get pregnant again. Or you have a mild case of 3-beta CAH.   What do you take for 3-beta CAH.  Do the medication pass to the baby and when you breast fed?  Or since they are replacement medications is it okay for the baby?
