Hi all,

I am 28 and self-employed in Arizona and trying my darndest to find medical insurance for myself.  As a result of my CAH, I have been denied insurance coverage repeatedly, mostly due to the ineptness of underwriters.

Is anyone aware of insurance companies operating in Arizona who offer insurance to persons with CAH or other pre-existing conditions?

I would ask everyone to write their Congressperson and Senators requesting that they sign onto current legislation before the Congress which would prohibit genetic testing as a requirement of insurance or employement.
