It’s very confusing at first.  But learn all you can, this board will help, they have lots of links to CAH sites.

But remember that the Endo. Ped. should be the one to tell you about most things.  You should make a list to ask when you see the Dr. next.  Most of us have experence but the Dr. should be able to answer most of the questions you have.  You have to be careful not to do things with out the advise of your Endo Dr.

This board is great to help tho, you just must remember some things work for some but not all CAH kids.

I have a 14 SWCAH boy, he is a great kid.

He was diagonsed at 10 days old, when he had about 2 hours left to live.  Adrenal Crisis is scary.  Have only gave him the Solu-Cortef 3 times.  (Injection)
