I had a pheocromocytoma on my left adrenal gland removed in 97to  along with the gland. And now my newborn boy has elevated levels of electrolytes that were retested after his newborm metabolic screening came back abnormal. Any possible relationship? We are going in for a retest this week. I am  afraid f what I may ave passed to him. The potassium, sodium, and CO2 were just above the normal range.

Any advice of what I need to know/ask from the pediatrician? I am just beginning my research as my baby is only 2weeks old. Thank you in advance.
