Missed you. Hopefully you will be able to attend next year.

MAGIC was great. I didn’t get the chance to "network" with the other parents as much as I would have liked because Ruthie was just everywhere!

There still isn’t much CAH research going on. The Japanese are still doing some of the gene stuff.

Johns Hopkins is doing some interesting studies with CAH women (must be over 21 and most are older than that). A surprising number of these women (salt wasters and non-SW) don’t take any medications less they need a stress dose (which they do). They also don’t see an adult endo.

There was another 11-beta in the group (a salt waster at that - very rare), so Dr. Pang did spend some time for us going over the difference in 11-beta and 21-hydroxylase deficeincies.

When I get a chance I’ll try to get some additional info to you.
