Anne-MarieI’m not sure what Ashley’s where, but after studying how they define if it is CAH the test results can be anything from > 3’000 ng/dl at the time the child was tested with newborn screening depending on what day after birth the heel prick was done. Some children have understandably been much higher than this because newborn screening was done later than a couple days or not available in their state or country at the time from birth to diagnosis. Ashley was not screened. We were just told that his 17 OHP was off the scale basically. I don’t have copies of his UK records but am looking into obtaining copies for our records.
Hope that helps,
Anne-Marie
