Joe, what has worked for us for us since liquid cortef is as follows:

place cortef tablet (or fraction thereof) in syringe; suck-up orange or other favored flavored Kool-Aid; place syringe up-side down so liquid doesn’t run out; wait 10 minutes for cortef to disolve; shake and dispense; suck-up another syringe of kool-aid; shake and disspense (to make sure all was disspensed).  Our son doesn’t even wake-up for this.
