My 6 year old takes a total of 7.25 mg cortef daily, 2.5 am, 2.5 afternoon, 1.25 PM. My 3 year old takes 1.25 mg am, 1.25mg afternoon, 1.25 mg pm, both my boys are doing great, and there numbers are still on the low side. I have two very happy healthy boys. My endo says we are lucky they can be maintained so well on such a low dose, both kids are very slim.
