Anne-MarieJust a thought...pet’s usually have stainless steel pendants on their collars and the kiosks that cut keys over here do engraving as a second service to the key cutting. They also engrave trophies made out of the same or tankards, so I guess they would engrave steel if you could not get a jeweller to do it.
Ashleys is stainless steel and it is on a velcro strap and always faces towards the velcro strap as their is a rubber holder and it really takes some pulling to turn it over. So it has not got as scratched as the ones on the chains do. The front with the emblem has, but this is still recognisable. The velcro has become a little tatty, but then I don’t mind replacing that from time to time. The velcro bracelets are black with a maroon strip on them. It is the marron strip that has come away, and the velcro has become a little dog eared. Far better than the brcaelet though which he would always snap.
He has "Adrenal Insufficiency--taking steroids" on it and also,
"Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia."
You can also get the meds you need in emergency engraved on there i.e.
"100ml Solu-Cortef by IM/IV in Emergency." This is what some of the Addisons adults have engraved on their anyway.
Cheers
