I read the memorial it was very sad.  I think I will go see an endocrinologist (this would be the first in 8 years).  Because I am kind of scared.  After I quit taking my meds I rapidly lost a lot of weight (about 50 lbs. and I’ve always been a slightly overweight) and I got real dark, almost deep reddish-brown.  I live in Florida, so I thought I got darker because I was always in the sun.  I have kept the weight off and I seem to dehydrate a lot (at least once a year) but I seem to know when I am about to or in the beginning stages of dehydration.  This is when I load up on Gatorade.  I just don’t know...I am happy now that I don’t have to really on those pills but then again I am older and I realize now that I may have done some irreversible damage to myself.  I will definitely go see an endocrinologist.  Thank you again.
