DianeGood Morning Everyone!
Thank you all for your questions/comments/concerns and a BIG thanks to Anne-Marie, you saved me a lot of research! I won’t be able to read through everything until tonight, but I promise to get back to everyone.
I hate to say this, but if it weren’t for Charlie being seen at the NIH, I would’ve never known! I think the doctors fluff it off for several reasons:
1) They are almost always benign.
2) I don’t think they are as worried about fertility in boys.
3) They just might not know enough about it.
4) Our wonderful insurance companies.
5) It might be rare, so the expense of testing all the boys wouldn’t be worth it.
I am also worried about bone density.....My son’s legs ALWAYS hurt.....and there is MORE.....and I do think it has to do with his CAH. We all on this board have talked about things that the majority of our children all have/complain about, and someone needs to listen.
Sorry, I could go on, there is so much I question about CAH.
