I have had the laser removal done on my bikini line. I’ve had it done twice. The first time was not that painful. It felt like a rubber band snapping. Now picture one SNAP for a very small area about one inch by 3 inches. They must repeat this over entire area. Yes there is redness after but no pain to speak of. Just a little sensitive area like a slight sunburn. Now the second time hurt much worse for each snap. I was told that pain can be effected by your menstral cycle. I can’t remember when is the least painful time in your cycle. I’ll ask my sister who’s office I had it done at. I was also told that they can do mole hair but that sometimes the mole will be lighter afterward. And you must go in with the mole hair there: do not pluck or shave for a while before treatment. I still have hair and was told it could be 5 times total to be hair free. My sister is hair free on the chosen locations! By the way, the laser I had done was at a ob/gyn office and the woman running the machine is well trained and the machine is brand new and very expensive. I believe the treatments were very expensive about $400 a session? Good luck.
