Hello:

I have a fun memory of sitting at the kitchen table and eating grilled cheese & tomato sandwiches and drinking kool-aid out of a big plastic tumbler.

What makes this of interest to CAH ( at least I think so, lol ) is that I would suck up the kool-aid into a  unused syringe then I would, much to my delight shoot it into my mouth.

The nurses had given me many different sizes of syringes to use. These were my "toys" it made it easier some how when it came time for shots because I had already become comfortable with seeing them and had used them myself.

I also practiced giving shots (without the needle, of course)  to Skipper, Barbie’s cousin. Yes, I played with dolls but my dolls did stuff like build their own houses with Lincoln Logs and they would drive Ken around in the jeep !
