If your child is a salt waster and not taking florinef then I would be careful to make sure she is getting lots of salt.  The advice not to worry about salt intake I think would only apply to kids who are taking florinef which helps them retain the salt.  Can you get florinef (fludrocortisone) in the Phillippines?  It is very helpful in managing CAH.  Kids on Florinef often need less hydrocortisone (cortef) which is good because of the side effects of high doses of hydrocortisone.  It is available as a generic and is not very expensive.  Maybe you could get it through an internet pharmacy.  If not, I would talk to your physician about how much salt your daughter needs and how you can ensure that she gets it.
