We had the same thing happen to us at one appointment after a dose cut and the Doctor basically dismissed it also.  We were told that it was normal for boys to have this at aged 8 in one appointment!   Could tell that it was not normal.  Believe me I have been in the classroom with boys of his age and none of them seem to emit the same odour....and I know it was the type of odour that he should NOT have at all.  He rarely has it these days now he is controlled a lot better which more or less confirms what the underarm odour he DID have was exactly when he was not controlled very well.  There is a difference between 8 yr old boys perspiration and an adults perspiration.
