My daughter had mono at the age of 17. She had a pretty severe case. She has LOCAH, so I don’t know if this helps or not. She was on stress meds for about a week. She felt pretty sick for a about a week, but bounced back. She could not take gym or do anything strenous for about two months because her spleen was very enlarged.

I was happy she got it before she left home for college. She has been very healthy since then.
