Danny CarltonWell, first of all you need to always keep in mind that if your medicine is at the right level it will kake you over emotional, moody or depressed. Knowing that usually helps alot because it allows you to pause and thing through your feeling and see if there’s a real reason for them, and if not dismiss them. Just knowing they are chemically indiced gives you power over them.
There’s alot about CAH that doctors, even Endocrinologists are still learning and trying to figure out. In all honesty every person who visits a doctro is more or less a "lab rat" since medicine is so inexact. Sure doctors put up a good confidence game, that’s part of the treatment, but few things in medicine are absolutely sure or understood.
Being from Oklahoma I don’t know where you’d go for medical attention of this kind in California. I think we have some other posters who are from there, so they might know. But beyond just a good doctor, if you’re broke and independant from your parents, you’d need to find what programs your state offers for medical care for people who are broke. Usually states make every effort to educate people about where to go for stuff like that.
I hope that helps, if you have any more questions, we’re here for you.
