My 2-cents - give it to yourself by injection before you call the ambulance. Now that is assuming you are not in a coma or unconscience.  What I am trying to say - it to always have an injection kit with you.  Whether it is solu-cortef, prednisone, or dexamethasone.  I would hope if someone find you in a coma - they know where the kit is located.  When I am driving in the car - I always have the kit in plain site by the bucket seats.

As Michele said I would not depend on the ambulances to carry it or give it to you.  This is something I don’t think we will EVER be able to change.  It is just like newborn testing....... very difficult to take on to make a change. But not impossible and you can affect the change slowly and one city at a time.  And Senator Dobbs is champion in newborn testing NATIONAL - for standards, awareness and education.

If you can’t affect the change with the ambulance.... maybe you can affect a change in awareness with the importance of medical alert  id, emergency room education on CAH, parental education on adrenal crisis instructions, etc.
