re: math correction - for Anne-Marie/ChrisD [edited by site admin]

I guess I am basically hoping that Lisa has mistyped there Laura.  Because no matter what severity he is it is impossible for him to be needing the equivalent to 80mg Hydrocortisone at night and then an added 20mg throughout the day.  That’s where I got confused here until I saw your correction in the fractional sense.  Guess it was just me.  I would like to believe that Lisa’s son’s Doctor is only dosing 0.05mg really at that time.  That would be a much smaller dose and equivalent to 8mg if given at night according to the caveat below.

Your  right with the above.  I guess common sense was trying to tell me she must mean 0.05mg not 0.5mg.  The reason for my mistake was a little obvious because when you think about it, it is quite ludicrous that he should be one the equivalent to 40mg Hydrocortisone at night, let alone the 80mg is will be anyway when taken at night according to Scott Rivkees caveat.  I mean have things changed from last year when I recieved this by email?

This is what Lisa needs to know really, as does her Doctor.  All she needs do is cut and paste it to email and send to her Doctor or print off and take.
