The solu-cortef that we carry passed its expiration date.  When I went to get it refilled, they said it was back-ordered!  Luckily, one of the pharmacies across town had some in stock.  First of all I was angry that the pharmacy did not call me to tell me it was back ordered.  I had to go to the pharmacy to find out (it was called in days prior to my going to pick it up).  I just don’t understand how pharmacists can have a product back ordered, and not call the consumer!  It’s not like I wanted a stupid bathing suit through mail order......this is life maintaining medicine!  Second, why does upjohn continue to let this medication run short of supply!!!!

Anyway, I wanted to give you all a heads up in case you are due for a refill.  And to vent!!!
