Jennifer,

My doctor also never told me about solu-cortef and medic-alert bracelets.  However, when I asked for a prescription he was more than happy to give it to me.  He also seemed pleased when he saw that my son had his bracelet on.  The endocrine nurse at the clinic had told me they didn’t recommend them for babies because they are a choking hazard.  I think that is ridicuolous.  I can barely get the thing off.

On an unrelated note,  I am going to be moving to Fayetteville, GA next month.  We actually looked at houses in Peachtree City but since my husband will be working in Fayetteville we decided that would be more convenient.  I would love to find out the name of the new endo you are going to see and also would love a recommendation for a pediatrician in the area if you have one.  If you want you can e-mail me directly at: cburnett@utah.gov.  Thanks!!
