Jill T.Hi Everyone!
Just wondering what kind of case you send with your child to school to safely contain his/her solu-cortef injection kit. I’ve carried our son’s "kit" of solu-cortef bottle, syringes, alcohol swabs and instructions on how to give the injection in a small cosmetic case either in my purse or the diaper bag for 4 years. Now that my son is starting Junior kindergarten, he needs something more sturdy, I think, to carry the "kit".
I think I read on the message board that someone carries their kit in a diabetic case? I asked a friend of mine who has diabetes if she knew what this would be, but she didn’t know. I also checked with our regular pharmacy for any ideas and they had none. What do all of you experienced parents out there do? I know that the school can keep a kit on hand at the school, but I’d like my son to have it in his backpack for bus rides, etc... when he’s away from the school and away from me. Thank you in advance for any responses! Jill T.
