My son carries his solu-cortef in a mall fanny pack for field trips only.  Our endo does not think I need to know how to inject it but to give it to someone who can.  The other solu-cortef is in the office at all times with the stress dose of cortef.  We have a medical release forn on file, signed by our doctor, and the nurse for our "region" of town has spoken with me about his protocol.
