Hi Jill:

I will send you an e-mail after my visit with the Endo today. I am new to all this as my daughter (7) was only diagnosed in June and has been on 5mg cortef twice daily since then and we finally got our first appt. with the Endo today. I have been researching these sites like mad to gather all the info required to go in there and ask informed questions. I know from past experiences how overwhelming and belittling some specialists can be. I too, will certainly inquire about the solu-cortef injection kit and medic alert bracelet. I understand that my daughter has the milder form of NCCAH but from what I have read, it seems important to cover all the bases before anything went wrong. Her symptoms were premature puberty, weight gain, pimples and extreme emotional outbursts and anxieties. Luckily for me I had enough clues to realize this should be looked at and hopefully she will be properly medicated and go on with no problems. I am suspecting that my 2 year old daughter has this as well (very tall, hairy), I will address this with him today. I have noticed no changes in my 7 year old since she has been on the cortef (2 months now), I will also address this. I was curious to know who your Endo was just in case this one is not suitable for us as many people seem to change theirs...Thanks Barb
