another idea for the crafty peeps...

Take a piece of fabric about 15" x 15" square and fold it over.  Stitch a seam down the 6"seam side and also the open 15" side.  By this time you should have what looks like a 7.5"x 15" bag. Turn it inside out and fill it with a flat piece of quilt wadding (can get that from quilters craft shops) that is the same length and width of the inside of the bag you now have.  Stich the end up neatly in an invisible type of stitch.     Take two wide pieces of elastic ( like the knicker elastic but choose black) and place these down the length of the wadding at about one inch apart from eachother.  Your gonna stitch that across the shortest length of the fabric at various intervals and the elastic is what is going to hold syringes and needles in packets and stuff in each little section tightly.  Make these then at varying widths apart bearing in mind the width of needles you have and also vials.  You may need to sort of get your syringes and needles and use those as a guide as to how much the width of these panels should be to hold the said item.  In the middle make about 3 or 4 little pouches that can hold the vials firmly in place.  All this is then going to be rolled up around the actual vials which can be sort of placed in the centre in those pockets.  You can attach ribbon at either end to tie each edge firmly in place when you have rolled everything up into it or you can use velcro to fasten the edges once the whole thing has been rolled up.  I guess you could even pipe the edges in a contrast piping.  That would sort of fit neatly into a handbag, but keep everything firmly in place so it doesn’t rattle and roll around.  The padding is sort of a good idea as it will protect the vials in the middle which I guess would have to be in separate pouches  so they don’t chink together.  Voila!  One original holder for "The Kit!"

I’ll have to make one when I get some spare time and take pictures or draw what I am talking about and make a page up or something on the web.

I have a knitting needle pouch like that and it keeps all those together great.

Cheers
