I guess that it may be a little too fiddly for a few folks to do.  Both my husband and myself like to be as economical as possible and that there is always a way to do or make something that fits the bill than buy something.  I guess that even comes right down to being in control of our kids health and being able to give a shot also. We don’t even need to go to the hairdressers as I can cut and style myself!  He is a joiner and can build anything!  So we are real penny pinchers here.  Stingy as...  Basically we work on things and make stuff around the home and try to live off the smell of an oily rag so to speak so I guess you will possibly understand why I suggested making something. LOL!

We are so mean we use wood scraps from crates that he gets at work to pack aluminium extrusion in before it’s made up into windows--and we burn it as fuel on our wood burner at home!  LOL!  We are seriously thinking of investing in a wetback (woodstove that heats water in and pumps it it to a tank) this year as our water heating will then virtually cost nothing for 9 months of the year...and we will power it with electric for the other three months.    It solves the heating costs for now though during the winters that’s for sure!   Roll on Summer!
