My son’s endo has patients who have blood draws first thing in the morning before meds are given (like we do) and also patients who have blood draws in the afternoon after their regular clinic app’ts. He said that either way is fine AS LONG AS WE ARE ALWAYS CONSISTENT.As long as we always do blood draws the same way, then the lab results are reliable. I always make sure that I inform him at each app’t when I’ve given my son his last dose of hydrocortisone and at what time the blood draw was done.
