concerned: daughter having bladder problems
Aug. 27th, 2002   1:19pm

I have two girls who have late onset CAH.  My oldest is on Cortef for it,  She’s 11, but my 10 year old does not take meds.  The doctor didn’t think the numbers or her clinical picture indicated it.

My daughter who does not take the meds just told me when she goes to the bathroom she seems to be going all the way, but a few minutes later she will feel drops of urine.  She will go back to the bathroom and doesn’t have to go.  This happens all through the day.  This has been going on for approxinatly 4-6 weeks, and she NEVER told me.  She always wanted to take a shower and I asked her why and she said she just felt hot and sticky and due to the summer I bought it, never thinking anything else.

She did have some labial adhesion two years ago, used Premarin and it was gone, per se.  She also had a bladder infection at the time it was diagnosesd.  She has a dotor’s appointment with her PCP today, who is very good.  I don’t know if she’ll send me to my endo, who I did think of calling instead...but I am ignorant on this or an urologist.  I know this can be connected with CAH.  Can somebody, anybody tell me what this could mean.  I thank you all.

Michele
