Knowing that the units are in ng/dl, I doubt that you will find a pediatric endo who will disagree with yours....these numbers do look to be completely normal. From the peds-endo website, normal for a male infant, between 1-12 months old, is between 40-200 ng/dl (the first 30-60 days of life.) Further, "Values then decline to prepubertal range (3-90 ng/dl) before one year." Sorry I can’t seem to paste the chart in here, but if you’d like, I can email it to you.
In following what you’ve written in the past, I think one of the confusing aspects of your situation is that it sounds like the numbers you were given from the heelprick tests may have been expressed in different units than the numbers you got from the blooddraws, probably in units ng/ml, is my guess. IF that is the case, while those initial numbers from the newborn screening may have been sufficiently raised to trigger a suspicion of CAH, what also appears to be the case is that your son’s 17-ohp levels have been steadily declining since birth. That is another indication that everything looks to be all right.
Hope this helps to put your mind more at ease!
