My 9 yr old salt wasting daughter has always loved salty foods.  We would catch her acutally licking the inside of an empty bag of chips (gross huh?)  We always let her have all she wanted.  She was never on any other sodium supplements as a baby or toddler.  Just the florifef (and of course Cortef).  She never liked sweets.  She still wont eat candy, pies or cakes although she does like chocolate chip cookies now.  We have believed this to part of her CAH.   We also flew to NYC to meet with Dr. New.  Nannie your grandson is in good hands.  The best!
