You must have read my mind as a have just posted a question on our Australian message board regarding the sodium supplements that are given to SWCAH kids over there.  over in Australia extra salt is never given as we are on the understanding that the florinef given should be the amount that their bodies naturally make(or as close as we can get) so why the need for extra salt.  Mine and other kids that I have enquired about have never had a problem wanting salt and there levels have always been fine.  i worry about the long term effects of all the extra salt given from a newborn age.  I wouldn’t worry about your child not craving salt I think it is normal.
