For 10 years now I have always relied on our endo to tell us if numbers fell in the normal range or if they were high or low. I’ve never really asked for the numbers - I guess because I didn’t know how to interpret them. Last year our endo retired and we are now seeing her partner. She commented last Friday that Kristin’s 17oph was 2000+ on her last visit and that normally it is in the 400 range. I asked why we didn’t make any change in her meds and her response was that the testosterone levels did not go up. I’m not sure what she said for that level because I was in shock at the 17ohp going up so much! I think the testosterone was something like 30 or 40???? I’ll ask her when she calls me with the results of the blood draw done last Friday. Could puberty affect these numbers?kAY
