We have had both fludrocortisone and florinef but I didn’t even know that there was a difference aside from name of the drug.  Never noticed any difference anyway.  Except that I think as fludrocortisone it was scripted as 100mcg and as florinef it was scripted as 0.1mg? (Which I believe amount to the same dose).

If there are already two products on the market that are satisfactory, why is there another would be my question? Or is the fludrocort fludrocortisone? Puzzled..
