Where in Spain are you from? My father is from the northern part of  Spain. I live in the U.S. (Texas).  Congratulations on your son’s birth. Is he your first? The scariest part is probably now over. Now that you know about the CAH, it is only a matter of taking care of him.

My idea would be to contact Dr. New in NY. Danny has a link to her on this website. She does go to many international conferences and most likely has a list of endocrinologists that she can refer you to.

If you ever need to chat, please feel free to email me. I have been where you are and it can be very scary. Oh, I have a 14 month old SVCAH son. He was diangosed through newborn screening. He has never had a crisis and so far he is doing 100% great! I do have a question for you, you said that your son had a newborn screen done and it did not catch it. How is that possible that the result did not come back even some what abnormal? That is rather strange.
